The Dance Of MAHANAIM
I bear witness
To a sacred Movement
Where Life gives rhythm
And the warmth of day takes notice
Bright and blazing
It moves to and fro,
With whimsical sentiments
Lithe in motion
And subtle in transfer
Oh, the smiles it bring
So that all who gaze upon its glory
Cannot help but sing out its praises
In one accord, they sound
A balancing act of sorts
A beautiful sway on display
Where Heaven and earth draw near
And reconcile their distance
Two Camps
Two Witnesses
Holding each other accountable
To the rhythm of The ONE
For there—
YAHWEH MAHANAIM…
And I am held
Within the Company of HIS Presence
Surrounded by what I cannot always see
And when HE Leads
I am prone to follow
In Unison
We are meant to be
This mystery of MAHANAIM—
That I am not alone in my going
There is a Camp beside my camp
A Company beyond what eyes perceive
A Heavenly Host consorting
Where I reside; with me
Two Camps
ONE Rhythm
Two Witnesses
ONE Testimony
Two Movements
ONE Dance
In time and in Eternity
And when the time
Draws near for my rest
HE does not abandon the Movement
And all that we are stills, together
Enveloped in the cool of day
Where Sabbath solace enters in
Where every bit of heat gives way
To HIS Holy Hush—
We are Two
Still moving as One
Bound by all things Greater
And even in that solace
I still listen
I still yeild
I still follow…
I recognize the motion
Of The Only ONE
Who keeps my feet afloat
And my body high above the ground
There in our meeting place
Between Heaven and earth—
Dancing in MAHANAIM
