SOUTH OF HEAVEN
Underneath a cloudless sky
There’s a place where humans play
With metal birds
And wooden fish
And cell towers posing as trees
And forests made of iron
Where no sparrow builds its nest
Where no bear settles in its cave
For there is no resting place
And there is no sheltering space
The people there are driven by science
And alchemy dawns the day-to-day requirements
Of plastics and rubber and silicone asthetics
For resin is all the rage
The epicenter of all that is made
In a place called South Of Heaven
All the seas are without current
And no living creature dare exist
For reason of extinction
From many years of poaching
Endangered for a very long time
A place where nothing really grows
Pumped with chemicals for physical pose
For material agenda, the unnatural
Are made natural to maintain a simple lie
That there is life without the Living
Manufactured possibilities
Engineered success
Imitation communications
A sustenance of depravation
An Absence of reality
In a place called South Of Heaven
A civilization built from the remnants
Of a created world of what once Lived
Flourishing without real Life
In the mind of the machinists
And scientists and engineers
But there is a Living Hope
An Anchor that Keeps the Soul
HE Is Firm and Secure…
An Inner Sanctuary left fully untouched, like Eden
A place of True Life where no machine can enter
The general gist in this synthetic world
Is to mold and make all that is artificial
To live and move and have no being
And thrive with life without drawing one single breath
To bear the image of something living
Without ever knowing what it means to be alive
In a place called South Of Heaven
