Why The Darkness?

Void……..
Having no form; It was empty
Deep…….
Running and stretching Its length and breadth; endlessly
While Darkness covered Its face

Hiding obscurely
Existing in an uncharted realm; untouched
Pitch Darkness covering It
Thick Darkness hovering It
To be seen, heard, and felt

Watching, It wearied
Walking, It stumbled; Listening lethargically 
And cold chills pricked at Its flesh
As desperation disturbed Its mental faculties
Clawing at Its frazzled mind

Weighing at Its fluid motions
Casting at Its luminant nature
That Darkness maintaining eminence
Doom and distress; Gloom and anguish
Grieving Its broken heart; Alone

Still…….
It surges – Suddenly cascading out of the grips of Darkness
When the moment matches investigative intensity
As RUACH HAKODESH; resiliently roving
At the Fullness of Force and MIGHT
And Power and LIGHT

Gripping It with heroic hold
Capturing It from under the Shadows of Death
Bringing LIGHT to It; for believing The LIGHT
So that It remains not in the Darkness
Guiding Its feet into The Way of Peace

For The LIGHT…….
Its face IT unveils like a beautiful bride at her wedding hour
Exquisitely embellishing It day by day
Adorning with gifts; showering with plenteous bounty
Bannering It with LIGHT and LOVE unending

How long was It prior to The LIGHT?
Shrouded in The Veil of Shadows?
Perhaps millennia, centuries, three days tops; who can say or know?
But The LIGHT that frayed at the tentacles’ shade
Breaking away the seams of despair overcasting

For The LIGHT…….
HE did not turn HIS Face away from you  
As The LIGHT Shines in the Darkness 
The Darkness can never comprehend or overcome IT
Revealing The Truth of every matter…….

And this is The Judgement…….
The LIGHT has come into The World
And people love The Darkness rather than The LIGHT
And you are never really alone; even at your lowest moments  
But The Darkness hides you from your True Companion

Therefore……..
Arise and Shine for The LIGHT Is Come
And The Glory of YESHUA Rises upon you
Dawning on all who live in the shadow lands
But you must first receive IT and walk Therein

After all…….
The Lamp that carries The Endless LIGHT
Will prove Its entry into The Sunless City 
For the night is far gone; and the Day is at hand.
So cast off the works of Darkness, and put on The Armor of LIGHT
