Even In My Sleep

Up above me 
All around me
There’s a Force right underneath me
And It Holds me, and It Keeps
Even in my sleep!

In the evening
And at morning’s break
During the course of noon day
There It Offers me shaded Covering
Even in my sleep! 

In It the Peace I carry
Is the only kind that Secures me
When I lie down, I’m not afraid
No enemy can catch me, or trap me
Even in my sleep!

All my heavy loads 
It Takes, and It Breaks
Removing every trace of burden
And Gives me a yoke that is Easy and Light
Even in my sleep!

Ask anxiety, and ask fear
And they’ll tell you ever so meekly
Who Disrupts their subtle seeking
When they try so hard to reach me
Even in my sleep!

My heart takes rest
In Its Sweet Assurance
And will not be troubled ever again
Rejoicing in It, my soul sings praises
Even in my sleep! 

YAHWEH Is my Source and Strength
The Force of Whom I speak
I rise up by HIS Constant Hand
HIS Depth of Love stays all over me
Even in my sleep!

And I know HE’LL Hold me Steady
Moving me toward HIS Glory
Throughout this journey, HE will Help me
And Continue to Watch over my delicate soul
Even in my sleep!
